“Cultivating belonging amidst placeful-ness remains crucial to both my communal and poetic practice. Through archival research, I have come to know other caregivers whose subtle rebellions have been preserved in letters, wills, and portraits. My poems ensconce these archives alongside the ecological world to explore and explode the missing pieces in the wider perception of what it means to make a home.”
